The Charles Darwin rose grows to a height of approximately 100–150 cm, with blooms measuring 10–15 cm in diameter. The flowers are yellow or light yellow, forming large, cup-shaped blooms with over 130 petals. The color transitions from warm golden yellow to creamy tones, and occasionally the petals will take on shades of apricot or peach. The fragrance is strong, rich, and tea-like, making it a highly aromatic variety.
