Product Description:
Leonardo da Vinci, also known as "Pink Leonardo da Vinci," was bred by Meiland in France and introduced in 1993. It is also referred to as MEIdeauri.
The "Pink Leonardo da Vinci" rose grows to a height of 120–300 cm, with flower sizes ranging from 8–10 cm. Each bloom has 70–80 petals and displays a rich pink color that fades over time, developing a charming silvery tone. The flowers are cup-shaped, with petals neatly folded inward and a quartered center. They emit a light tea fragrance.
This variety has a long blooming period, and the flowers are highly resistant to rain and harsh weather conditions.
The shrub is upright, dense, and thorny, with a very compact growth habit. It features abundant, leathery foliage and good disease resistance, making it suitable for low-pesticide cultivation and cut flower arrangements.
In 1993, it won the Gold Medal in Monza.
