Rainbow’s End, Cl is a climbing rose variety discovered by Sue O’Brien in the United States in 1998. It is also known as SAVAclend.
This variety, is admired for its dynamic color-changing blooms. The plant can grow to a height of 180–360 cm, with blooms measuring 8 cm in diameter. Each flower consists of 30–36 petals. The blooms initially appear bright yellow, then gradually transition to deep red, and eventually, the entire bloom turns red when exposed to sunlight. Without sufficient sunlight, the color transformation does not occur. The petals curl outward, creating a high-centered bloom with a lotus-like petal arrangement, and emit a warm, subtle fragrance.
Rainbow’s End, Cl exhibits vigorous growth, with thorny branches and variable flower colors. However, its fragrance is not particularly strong, and its flower shape is somewhat irregular. Occasionally, flowers may bloom in an unexpected mix of colors, giving it the nickname Rainbow Vine.
