Rosomane Janon is a climbing rose variety developed by Massad in France in 2001 and introduced by Guillot in 2006. It is also known by the name Masjanon.
This variety grows to a height of 110 cm, with a width of 8-10 cm per flower. The blooms open to a soft yellow, which gradually deepens to a reddish-pink color as they mature. The flower shape is highly attractive, initially forming a rounded shape before transitioning to a cup-like structure. This variety is particularly sensitive to its environment, with the color often affected by the surrounding conditions. It produces light, fruity fragrances, giving off a lovely scent.
While Rosomane Janon is not completely frost-resistant, it is known for its strong resistance to common rose diseases.
This variety is named after the French photographer Jocelyn Janon.
