Shimmer, developed by Korres in Germany, is known as one of the most popular rose varieties. The plant grows to a height of about 100 cm and produces flowers with a diameter of 8-10 cm. The flowers are pale yellow with a tea-like fragrance, and the center is a warm amber color, while the outer petals are a soft pink due to environmental factors. The flower petals are about 60 cm long. Under relatively warm conditions, the flowers tend to change color as they bloom, and the blooms become lighter in color.
The flowers have a slightly wavy shape, and they resemble a classic rose. During hot weather, the petals may change and lighten. This variety has a relatively high flower count, with blooms numbering up to 45 petals.
Shimmer has few thorns, and its stems are upright and stiff, making it resistant to diseases and suitable for use as a cut flower.
